Government Holiday in Bangladesh 2023. Holiday means refreshment. Everyone wants some refreshment from work or business. A holiday can give you immense pleasure. Normal weekend in govt office is Friday and Saturday. Besides, there are some mandatory holidays in this country. The public/ Government holiday list for 2022 is published. This will be applicable for all Govt and Semi-Govt offices.
There is no Public holiday in the month of January. This year’s first public holiday is on 21st February, International mother language day. Following the 8th of March is Shab-e-Barat. Then, the 26th of March is Independence day.

Holiday Notice by the Ministry of Public Public Administration
The government rule: an employee can avail of a total of three days off as per his religion. All employees must take prior approval of leave at the beginning of the year.
